1 x Full Time Night Driver required to join Global Service Group (GSG) for a contract based in Leicester.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Commercial driving experience, preferably with refrigerated vehicles.

Shift: Monday to Friday - Shift time will depend on the route requirements to cover the route below:

Route 1: 8 hours per day plus 30 min unpaid break (40 hours a week) - Start time: 1830

Basis: Full time

Due to the nature of the collection times, there may be a need for overtime to ensure on-time delivery of samples back to the laboratory.

Collection of samples from various sites including self storage sites

Delivery of samples in a reasonable timeframe and in perfect condition

Driving at all times in a safe and appropriate manner; always courteous to other road users

Using various phone based applications to complete workflow duties

Ensuring the temperature control of the vehicle's fridge is maintained at all times.

Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with staff.

Maintaining a degree of flexibility on collection runs to allow for additional requests and traffic delays.

Maintaining a smart appearance of both driver and vehicle; project a positive public image.

THE PERSON

To be successful in this role you will be motivated, punctual, dedicated, and someone who gets things done.

Able to respond to any holiday, sickness or breakdowns cover when required for any of the routes.
