We currently have vacancies for a Care Team leader on a full-time basis up to 36h per week.

Main aims of the job

To oversee and guide care assistants with their role To meet the personal needs of the residents. To observe and promote the residents choice, independence, dignity, privacy and other rights. To create and maintain good professional relationships with residents, their family and friends. To assist in the general duties and activities of the home. To work alongside, and support your colleagues

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Key Responsibilities

To provide personal care and support to residents with a wide range of needs, illness and disabilities. To undertake the tasks detailed in the residents care plan using a person centred approach and in the least intrusive way. To encourage independence and motivation of the resident and not foster dependant behaviour. To provide input into the care plan of the resident by regularly providing feedback

Qualifications, skills and Experience

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills Have good judgement, problem solving, and decision making skills The ability to work flexible hours to meet the business needs Effective time keeping and time management Have a genuine interest for older people The ability to work effectively within a team environment Be willing to participate in National Vocational Training Programmes NVQ level 3, or working towards it.

Discretionary performance-related pay bonus ("PRP"), after probation period.

Pay: 13.40-13.65 per hour
