Nursery Nurse .

We are Looking for a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nursery. Maternity Cover

:

To provide high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months-5 years supporting their development, wellbeing, and learning in line with statutory requirements, nursery policies, and early years frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare and Development

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Support children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development through age-appropriate activities. Observe, record, and monitor children's progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff. Promote positive behaviour and social skills in line with nursery policies

Planning and Activities

Assist in planning and implementing educational activities and play-based learning. Adapt activities to meet the individual needs of children. Encourage children to explore, be curious, and develop independence.

Health, Safety, and Wellbeing

Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety. Administer first aid and medication as trained, recording appropriately. Follow safeguarding procedures and report any concerns in line with the nursery's safeguarding policy.

Communication and Teamwork

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Communicate effectively with parents/carers about their child's progress and daily experiences. Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, evaluate, and improve nursery provision.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 13.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
