Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of pharmaceutical care while managing a team of pharmacists and support staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and effective communication to foster a positive environment for both staff and patients.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Lead, mentor, and develop pharmacy staff to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and provide consultation to patients regarding their prescriptions. Maintain inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and managing stock levels. Implement IT systems for efficient pharmacy management and patient record keeping. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to pharmaceutical services. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in pharmacy management.

Experience

Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, with prior managerial experience preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and satisfaction. Proficient in IT systems relevant to pharmacy operations and patient management. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff, patients, and healthcare professionals.
