Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Baby Room Lead Practitioner to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and motivated childcare professional to take the lead in our baby room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children aged 0-2 years.

As Baby Room Lead, you will:

Lead the day-to-day running of the baby room, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. Support and supervise a small team of practitioners, ensuring best practice and consistency. Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Work closely with parents and carers, building strong relationships and providing regular updates on their child's progress. Monitor children's development, maintaining accurate records and supporting individual learning journeys. Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are adhered to at all times.
We are looking for someone who is:

Level 3 (or above) qualified in Childcare/Early Years. Experienced in working with babies and toddlers in an early years setting. Knowledgeable about the EYFS and passionate about child development. Confident in leading and supporting a team. Warm, caring, and committed to giving every child the best start in life. Reliable, organised, and able to communicate effectively with staff and families.
