Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support during dental procedures. You will assist the dentist in delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients to ensure continuity of care. Ensure the dental surgery is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Adhere to practice protocols and maintain a safe working environment for both staff and patients.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Dental Nursing experience is essential. Good IT skills for managing patient records and appointment systems. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members. Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy dental practice, to ensure smooth running of the surgery within given time.

Certificates

dental nursing qualification or equivalent current registration with GDC PVG Hep B evidence

Pay: 24,420.00-28,392.05 per year
