Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Support the dental team in administrative tasks, including managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.

Skills

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and understanding. Proficiency in English for effective communication with patients and team members. Background in nursing or relevant healthcare experience is preferred. IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling software. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Pay: 13.50-14.56 per hour
