Job Description

We are currently looking for a passionate staff member, full time (40 hours) Level 3+ Early Years Practitioner at our innovative nursery.

An internal shuffle to cover a maternity cover has meant one rare vacancy at our beautiful outdoorsy nursery based in the Yorkshire Wolds. The successful candidates will have at least a level 3 qualification and must have experience of working or training within an early year's environment. We are happy to consider newly qualified staff and will provide induction training, DBS & pediatric first aid if required.

Staff members (our 'maroon superheroes'!) work 8 hour shifts (9am - 5.30pm) with a 30min unpaid lunch time, Monday to Friday. Our staff turn over is VERY low, with a retention rate of 94% over the last 12 months.

Wild at Heart is an innovative and enriching day nursery which provides the highest quality of care and education for children aged six months to five years. Designed and run by a qualified Early Years teacher, Wild at Heart delivers spacious, nurturing environments where children are free to follow their interests, ensuring the best start to their learning and development. We have 4 age relevant play rooms based on ecology and diversity delivering a love of natural resources and open ended play, 2 huge adventure gardens, pets, private farm land and our own forest school site.
