The Company

Terrance House is a care home which specialises in providing person-centred care for people with a range of mental health diagnosis, for residents with an age range of 30-80 years old.

The Position:

Personal Care

: Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and other aspects of daily care with respect and dignity.

Person-Centred Care

: Tailor support to each individual's unique needs and preferences, promoting independence wherever possible.

Community Engagement

: Support individuals in accessing the community.

Meal Assistance

: Provide support during mealtimes.

Night Support

: Be a reliable presence throughout the night, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals in your care.

Key Requirements:

Full-time role, requiring 40 hours per week.

We provide extensive training to help you learn and progress in your job role. You can go from being one of the team to being the one who leads the team.

Previous experience in care or support work (ideally within a residential setting) is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.

Ability to provide support in a way that respects dignity and privacy.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.

An NVQ in health and social care is preferred but not essential.
