Job Description

The Farmyard Nursery are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join their dedicated team in a rural farm setting. Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, The Farmyard Nursery seeks someone who is ideally qualified to a Level 2 or higher in childcare with at least 1 years nursery experience. You will need an excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be able to use and enjoy the huge outside space the nursery has at it's disposal. The successful candidates must be confident in planning activities and good at observations to track their key children. Activities will need to be planned on a daily basis for children of all different abilities, therefore it is essential the candidates are able to do this.

Applicants must be prepared to spend large amounts of time outside at all times of the year and the successful candidate must be suitably dressed for working outside. All appointments are subject to appropriate DBS clearances and references.

We are ideally looking for a full time practitioner. They will need to start at 8am and finish at 4pm most days with one or two 6pm finishes.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a rural setting in Ashburnham and therefore do not have any access to public transport, so you must be able to drive or be able to have someone drive you to the setting.

Pay: 12.21-12.53 per hour
