Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support within our dental practice. As a Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients.

Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilised. Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised. Manage appointment schedules, ensuring efficient use of time and resources within the practice. Perform administrative tasks such as filing, answering calls, and managing correspondence. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to foster a collaborative working environment.

Qualifications

Valid GDC registration (required) A recognised Dental Nursing qualification of at least 1 year (preferred) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. A caring attitude towards patients with a focus on delivering high-quality care. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
