Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Accounts and Audit Senior to take the lead on a portfolio of audit assignments while also playing a key role in the preparation and review of financial statements and accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, balancing audit with wider accounts responsibilities, taking on tax assignments and mentoring junior staff.

What You'll Be Doing:

Lead and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion. Supervise, support, and develop junior team members across audit and accounts work. Take responsibility for the preparation and review of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards and identify areas for process improvement. Assist in other areas of the practice, including tax, bookkeeping, and client advisory, as needed. Maintain and build strong client relationships through clear communication and consistent delivery.

What We're Looking For:

ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified with relevant practice experience. Proven experience leading audits and preparing statutory accounts. Confident in reviewing the work of junior staff and providing constructive feedback. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive approach.
