Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily running of the cafe
Lead, train, and supervise staff to ensure smooth operations
Deliver excellent customer service and handle any customer queries or issues professionally
Maintain high standards of coffee quality, food presentation, and cleanliness
Ensure consistency and strong knowledge in coffee preparation
Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
Handle opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and tills
Create and manage staff rotas and schedules
Ensure all health & safety and food hygiene standards are met
Support the continued growth and positive reputation of Lume
Requirements:
Minimum
3 years' experience
working in a coffee shop
Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso-based drinks
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proven leadership and people management skills
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Reliable, organised, and professional
Flexible availability, including weekends
