Doggy Daycare Assistant - Full Time (40 Hours per Week)

Location: The Dog Club Maldon, Essex (rural location - own transport essential)

Hours: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (including one weekend day)

Start Date: Immediate

The Dog Club Maldon is a members-only dog daycare set in beautiful countryside, offering a calm, structured and enriching environment for dogs to thrive. We're looking for a dedicated, hard-working and animal-loving Daycare Assistant to join our friendly, professional team

About the Role

As part of our close-knit team, you'll be responsible for ensuring every dog enjoys a safe, happy and enriching day at The Dog Club. Your duties will include:

Supervising and interacting with groups of dogs during play and enrichment sessions Supporting calm, structured behaviour and positive social interactions Maintaining excellent hygiene standards and assisting with feeding and cleaning routines Helping with daily operations such as drop-offs, collections and activity rotations Working confidently outdoors in all weathers and across varied environments
Requirements

Minimum Level 1 or 2 Animal Care qualification (or equivalent) Previous experience in a dog daycare, kennel, or similar animal care setting is an advantage Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills Full UK driving licence and own transport essential (rural location) A genuine love of dogs and commitment to their wellbeing
