The role:
We're looking for a proactive and organised
People Assistant
to join our friendly and collaborative team at our Westbury Head office. Working closely with the People Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting a wide range of HR functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and helping us deliver a great employee experience.
This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone with strong administrative skills and a passion for people. While based at our Head Office, occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
What you'll be doing:
Responding to internal and external queries related to the People function (email and telephone)
Maintaining accurate employee records (digital and paper), ensuring GDPR compliance
Supporting employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, absence tracking, and data entry
Assisting with employee relations cases and TUPE processes
Coordinating logistics for new starters and supporting induction processes
Taking minutes in meetings and supporting People-related projects
Inputting data into HR systems
What we're looking for:
3+ years' experience in an HR or administrative role
CIPD Level 3 (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential
Solid understanding of HR processes and employment law
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively
Confident using HR software and Microsoft Office applications
Driving license and access to a car
