Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with individuals of all ages to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. This role is essential in helping clients improve their communication skills and overall quality of life. The Speech Therapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

Duties

Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop and implement individualised therapy plans based on assessment results. Provide direct therapy to clients, focusing on improving articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language comprehension. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate clients and their families about communication disorders and effective strategies for improvement. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Stay current with research and best practices in speech therapy.

Experience

A degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is required. Registration with the relevant professional body is essential. Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: 31,901.62-55,250.77 per year
