We are seeking a highly capable Teaching Assistant to join our Year 6 team and provide strong academic support in the lead-up to SATs. This full-time position is based in a Barnet school (N12) within a high-needs class that includes four pupils with EHCPs. Although the cohort has additional learning needs, there are no significant behaviour concerns.
The ideal candidate will have excellent literacy and mathematics skills suitable for upper Key Stage 2, and the confidence to deliver targeted support that enhances pupil progress. A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum, particularly SATs expectations, is essential.
