We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
Perform repairs, replacements, and maintenance tasks on vehicles ensuring safety standards are strictly adhered to.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs undertaken, and parts utilised.
Collaborate with other team members to coordinate scheduled maintenance and urgent repairs efficiently.

Follow health and safety regulations at all times during maintenance procedures.
Keep the workshop or designated work areas clean, organised, and safe.
Skills
Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role, with knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to identify faults quickly and accurately.
Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialised machinery relevant to the role.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team under minimal supervision.
Good communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and management regarding repair needs or technical issues.
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering are desirable but not essential.
