Job Description
Our well-established Sheet Metal Specialist firm now have a vacancy for a fully qualified Sheet Metal Worker, to join our busy team.
The role is a full time vacancy: Hours (07.00 - 16.00 hours Monday - Thursday) (07.00 - 13.00 hours Friday).
You will be working with a different range of materials (Aluminium, Plastisol, Galvanised, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel etc.)
Successful candidate will be fabricating bespoke items and
must be able to;
Grade C (5), or above in Mathematics.
Conversant in Mig-Tig Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel welding.
Be able to operate Guillotine/Brake Press Machinery.
To work unsupervised.
Interpret Customer Drawings.
Develop from flat patterns.
Be able to Lift flat sheet metal/framework.
Read a ruler/tape measure.
Work well in a team.
Be a good communicator.
A forklift licence would be an advantage. Training would be provided if the candidate does not currently hold one, or it has expired.
You must have relevant proven qualifications for this job.
The Company offers a competitive salary dependent on experience.
