Duties

Provide outstanding guest services by ensuring all guests feel welcomed and attended to during events. Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, adhering to strict food safety standards. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service and smooth operation throughout events. Support the restaurant team by helping with various tasks, including setting up dining areas and serving food and beverages. Utilise basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and promote menu items effectively. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area.

Skills

Strong background in guest services with a commitment to providing excellent hospitality. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential. Ability to upsell menu items confidently, enhancing the overall dining experience for guests. A passion for hospitality, with an eagerness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic.

This role is only for hours when functions are on at the hotel. Hours are not guaranteed and will vary each week.
