Responsibilities: You will support Arm Automotive projects from early development to successful assessment and certification. This will involve working closely with engineering, product security, and functional safety experts.
You will have the unique opportunity to establish an aligned and seamless workflow between the multiple subject areas, processes, and requirements. You will help the teams to develop robust development processes, achieving efficiency and excellence across Arm solutions, hardware, and software. In your role, you are responsible for performing independent confirmation reviews of safety and cybersecurity work products, planning and managing ISO 26262 and ISO/SAE 21434-compliant external assessments, conducting internal audits, and driving open actions to closure in alignment with Arm customer requirements and relevant industry standards. You will foster a Safety culture, deliver training, improve frameworks, manage risks, and monitor performance. You will communicate progress to various team members and Arm leadership.
Required Skills and Experience:
Extensive hands-on experience with one or more functional safety, cybersecurity, and quality standards, such as ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 61508, and ASPICE. This includes the ability to review functional safety documentation, provide teams with opportunities for improvement, deliver relevant training and guidelines, and support process and work product development in line with safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements across the product lifecycle.
Great understanding of the Soft-IP (Software, Hardware) and SoC development lifecycle from a Functional Safety perspective within the semiconductor domain, with practical insight into how safety requirements influence the design, integration, verification, and delivery of both IP and SoC solutions.
Experience in performing audits in Functional Safety and Automotive Cybersecurity for at least three years, along with experience in facilitating root cause analyses and applying, facilitating, and guiding quality processes and methodologies.
Certified Functional Safety Engineer from a recognised industry certification body (e.g., TUV SUD, TUV Rheinland, Exida, etc.).
Strong interpersonal skills to help develop relationships and network with internal customers and champion quality, safety, and cybersecurity culture.
