Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assessor/tutor who can deliver either of the following - Adult Social Care and or Functional Skills, to provide educational support to students in a variety of subjects face to face and online. The role is a hybrid role and we are seeking an experienced individual who can start asap.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with various learners from different backgrounds 19+, you will need to possess strong communication skills to effectively engage and motivate learners. This role is crucial in helping students achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities.

Duties

- Develop personalised lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of each student.
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects.
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement.

- Experience of using e portfolio
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding progress and challenges.
- Support students with special educational needs by implementing appropriate strategies and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and feedback.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching with adults.
- Knowledge and experience of working with various awarding bodies delivering accredited qualifications. Entry level - Level 2 Functional skills English and Maths or Adult Social Care
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts in an accessible manner.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for educating others.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other educators.
- Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
