Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personalised tutoring sessions to students aged 19+, helping them achieve their academic goals and improve their understanding of English & Maths. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Duties

Educate students in Functional skills, tailoring lessons to individual learning styles and needs. Conduct group tutoring sessions, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment. Communicate effectively with students regarding progress, challenges, and strategies for improvement. Develop lesson plans and educational materials that align with curriculum standards. Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth. Collaborate with educational staff to support students' overall development. Maintain a positive attitude and foster a love for learning in all students.

Qualifications

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching. Proven experience in assessing. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information. Ability to engage students and inspire confidence in their abilities. Patience, empathy and a genuine interest in helping students succeed academically.

Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are mandatory.
