For over 36 years, we have supported families facing homelessness, relationship breakdowns and other challenges, helping them build safe and stable futures. If you want to gain fundraising experience while making a real impact, this is the role for you!

Your Role & Responsibilities:



Assist in organising and supporting fundraising events, activities, and campaigns. Help set up, run, and pack down fundraising stalls, events, and community engagement activities. Promote The Roberts Centre's fundraising opportunities within the local community, both in person and online. Approach local businesses, community groups, and individuals to encourage donations and sponsorship. Help maintain accurate records of donations, sponsorships, and fundraising income. Support the creation and distribution of fundraising materials, including posters, social media posts, and leaflets. Act as an ambassador for The Roberts Centre, representing the charity in a professional, positive, and friendly manner. Work closely with staff and other volunteers to ensure successful delivery of fundraising targets and objectives. Participate in relevant training provided by The Roberts Centre, including safeguarding and health and safety.

Who We're Looking For:





Understanding of basic fundraising principles and good financial handling practices. Awareness of The Roberts Centre's work and objectives (desirable). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to represent The Roberts Centre positively and professionally. Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Personable, friendly, enthusiastic and approachable. Respectful of confidential and sensitive information. Committed to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing. Willingness to learn and attend training as needed.
