The Fundraiser will work closely with various stakeholders to promote our cause and engage the community in our initiatives.

Duties

Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals. Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors. Coordinate fundraising events, including logistics, marketing, and volunteer management. Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to engage potential supporters. Collaborate with the public relations team to enhance the organisation's visibility in the community. Conduct market research to identify new fundraising opportunities and trends. Provide exceptional customer service to donors, ensuring their experience is positive and rewarding.

Requirements

Proven experience in fundraising or a related field is highly desirable. Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with Raiser's Edge or similar fundraising software is advantageous. Excellent public relations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently. A genuine passion for our mission and a commitment to making a difference in the community.
