Standlake (near Witney, Oxfordshire), hybrid working at manager's discretion

Salary:

29,995 - 37,966

Working hours:

37.5 hours per week (some flexibility will be required to attend fundraising events)

About the role:



As our Community Fundraising and Events Manager, you'll plan and deliver events, inspire local communities, and build lasting supporter relationships. Every pound you raise will help transform the lives of vulnerable children and families.

You'll join a small, ambitious team with plenty of scope to make your mark and be part of an extraordinary story.

Responsibilities:



Deliver income targets through events and community fundraising. Plan, promote and manage a calendar of fundraising events with support from the Fundraising & Events Assistant. Build strong relationships with individuals and community groups, inspiring ongoing support. Provide excellent stewardship through communications, visits, events and public speaking. Work with marketing to raise our profile locally and create engaging supporter comms. Use Raiser's Edge NXT CRM to maintain accurate records, reports and supporter journeys. Contribute to wider fundraising strategies, budgets, appeals and impact reports. Stay up to date with best practice and ensure compliance with fundraising standards and GDPR.

About you



Minimum 2 years' fundraising experience, ideally in events or community fundraising. Proven record of meeting income targets and generating new opportunities. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Confident written, verbal and public speaking skills. Warm communication and relationship-building skills. Creative approach to developing new fundraising ideas. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience (e.g. Raiser's Edge NXT) a plus. Knowledge of fundraising standards, GDPR and best practice.

We also provide therapeutic outreach services to schools and other community-based organisations, along with research and consultancy services. Since 1948, we've been helping to transform the lives of children who have experienced trauma with specialist therapeutic services and fulfilling activities.
