Snow Camp is a life changing snowsports charity delivering an accredited journey of snowsports focused youth programmes at indoor snow centres across the UK. Our programmes take young people, who would never otherwise have this opportunity, from absolute beginners to trained snowsports instructors over the course of a year; before opening up further volunteering, apprenticeship and employment opportunities. Alongside learning to ski or snowboard, our young people also gain essential life skills and ready-to-work vocational training, earning a range of qualifications and receiving mental health support, as they progress through the year.
Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to support Snow Camp's Fundraising Department. You will be responsible for looking after Snow Camp's supporters whilst raising the profile of the charity to widen its audience, develop new opportunities and expand our current portfolio for generating funds. In addition to ensuring current and up-to-date communications online and in print you will also be helping to maximise income by researching funding opportunities, writing compelling proposals and grant applications and managing a portfolio of funders.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
3 years' experience in fundraising, marketing or development for a charity or not-for-profit.
Proven success in donor relations, grant writing or campaign management.
Experience managing social media, digital campaigns and CRM systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong storytelling ability.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Passion for the charity's mission.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising & Development
Design and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies across monthly giving, corporate partnerships and trusts and grants.
Manage a pipeline of prospects and funders including researching, cultivating and stewarding supporters across individual, corporate and grant-making prospects.
Write compelling grant applications, proposals and impact reports using monitoring and evaluation data and case studies.
Support the Programme Managers with regional fundraising applications and pipeline.
Plan and deliver fundraising campaigns and special events aligned with the charity's goals.
Maintain accurate donor records within the CRM, Donorfy.
Marketing & Communications
Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that promotes the charity's mission, programmes and impact.
Create and manage engaging content across multiple channels including newsletters, website, social media, press releases and the annual Impact Report.
Oversee brand consistency across all digital, print and social platforms.
Additional
Work closely with the Board of Trustees, Senior Management Team and Programmes Team to align fundraising and marketing efforts.
Undertake other duties, training and flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends. This could include attending fundraising events, programme visits and industry events as reasonably required.

Management and Support
The Fundraising & Marketing Manager will be employed by Snow Camp and will report to the Development Director who will determine the overall direction of the department and will set the overall priorities in consultation with the Founder, Managing Director and Board of Trustees.
