Undertake driving duties to transport both clients and deceased.
Assist the Funeral Director on the day of the funeral to ensure all clients wishes are met.
Assist with the preparation and presentation of the deceased for viewing purposes.
Ensure our premises and vehicles are maintained to a high standard at all times.
Maintain a professional and dignified approach at all times.
Able to follow clear specific instructions from the Funeral Director.
Good level of physical fitness as heavy lifting is required on a regular basis.
Arrange Funerals in our funeral homes or the family homes.
Prepare and deliver all time sensitive relevant paperwork for funerals.
Provide holiday and sickness cover for colleagues based at other funeral homes.
Participate in our 24/7 call out Rota
Must have a full clean driving license, and 23yrs plus for insurance purposes.
Weekend work when required.
Good computer skills.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a funeral service role is preferred, but not essential.
Previous clerical experience preferred.
