Are you an Athletics Coach / Coach in Running Fitness, Level II qualified Coach In another Sport, or hold a sports leadership award?


Do you have a passion for working with children of primary school age - and want to be part of a unique movement to bring funetics and the funetics multi challenge (fun and inclusive athletics programme for 4-11 year olds to learn and develop in run, jump, throw all year round) into the lives of Children and their families in England ?


We are seeking a coaching delivery team of exceptional individuals, who have core coaching, leadership and community engagement skills.


Our events will be predominantly based across the Midlands including Birmingham, and beyond, from January 2026 - November 2026


This role would suit University Students, part time workers or those that have a flexible working patterns and are 18+.


The role will require you to work some weekends, early evenings, and University / School Holidays


We require support with England Athletics indoor and outdoor competitions, and partner events, such as the National Running Show and our big ticket item for next year the European Athletics Championships in August 2026


This role will require you to be an active coach/ leader


Rate of pay


Qualified Athletics Coach / Cirf / or Level II Coach in another sport 25.00 per hour


Assistant Coach Athletics / or Level I Coach in another sport 15.00 an hour


Sports leader / Leading funetics 10 per hour


Interviews will be via Teams before Christmas
