Furniture Maker/cabinet Maker
Job Description
Design Onion specialise in designing and making award-winning contemporary woodwork with a focus on bespoke kitchens and cabinetry. Due to an increase in workload, we require a highly skilled furniture/cabinet maker to contribute both workshop based and on-site, for an immediate start. We are keen to hear from all interested individuals and are open to considering candidates on a part-time, full-time or self employed/freelance basis.
Experience in the following areas would be essential requirements:
High quality furniture making including demonstrable experience working with solid hardwoods, veneering and a high level of skill with hand tools
Bespoke/One-off kitchen manufacture
High end cabinetry/joinery installation
Please do not apply unless you have demonstratable experience in all of the above.
Experience in the following would be desirable:
Spray finishing
Solid Surface fabrication and installation
Managing a small team including overseeing apprentices
Furniture design background
CAD/CAM
Rates will be dependent on experience and employed/self-employed basis.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
