Furniture Production Operative

The Company:

ECF Ltd is a family run business offering an extensive product range to the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry. We have more than 35 years of experience in the manufacture and supply of furniture and components, and occupy over 100,000 sq.ft of manufacturing, warehousing and office space in rural Leicestershire.

Our production department has experienced tremendous growth over recent years and has benefitted from continual investment and in-house development. Using state-of-the-art CNC machinery, we manufacture all of our in-house designed branded furniture and doors.

The Role:

- Full time position working within our busy production department

- Undertaking one or more tasks, including - operating woodworking CNC machines, cabinet assembly, door assembly, glass cutting and product picking

- Reading job sheets to carry out the required work

- Ensuring the products are manufactured to the expected high standard

- Working to scheduled production dates and delivery dates

The Candidate:

- A hard worker with good demeanour

- Motivated with a willingness to learn new skills

- Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team

- Reliable and conscientious

- The ability to work quickly and methodically

- Good aptitude

- Physically fit and healthy

- The successful candidate will be provided with necessary training

Working Hours:

-Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, 2 x 15 minute breaks and 45 minute lunch

- Friday 8am to 2pm, 1 x 15 minute break

- Overtime paid at x1.5 hourly rate.

Holiday Entitlement

-20 days per annum + Bank Holidays

- Christmas Shutdown, not deducted from holiday entitlement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 2,064.00 per month
