The Furniture Production Operative position is an integral part of our manufacturing department.

The job holder will enable the business to fulfil orders and offer high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate and timely preparation of component parts and the manufacture and assembly of components into finished goods, as well as efficient packaging and preparation of orders.

Duties

Assembly of furniture items (doors, cabinets, drawers etc) Competently use hand tools and machinery Following a defined work flow, as set by supervisor Working with metal profiles, MFC, wood & glass in a busy furniture manufacturing business Placing finished goods in pre-defined locations, via manual handling Unloading, checking and storing inbound deliveries Observing all health and safety rules and procedures

Requirements

Minimum 1 years furniture manufacturing experience (either wood, metal or glass) 1 Years minimum experience using hand tools Excellent work ethic Ability to work to deadlines FLT licence (preferred, but not essential) Good communication skills, - verbal, Positive attitude & willingness to learn Team player
