We are looking for a reliable removal man to join our team. Removals experience is preferred but not essential - a willingness to learn the trade is essential, with a good level of common sense, work ethic, and the ability to pick up new skills quickly.
Customer service is imperative to us and you will need to be able to deliver the same high level of service. You must be presentable, polite and hardworking.
You will be required to work as part of a team, packing and moving household furniture and contents to customer's new property or into storage.
Flexibility within this job is expected due to the nature of the role, days can vary from 4 to 12 hours completely job dependant
Requirements:
Physically strong & fit due to heavy lifting and walking involved in removals.
The ability to learn to safely load and stack vehicles.
Honest and responsible attitude to customer's property.
Good time keeping.
Flexible in the days and times that you work. Some weekend work will be required.
Responsibilities and Duties
Working with a team, your main responsibilities will be:
Carry items to the vehicle(s) safely and without damaging items or premises.
Loading and securing the contents in the vehicle.
Driving to the new location, unloading and placing the contents where the customer would like them.
Ensure the vehicles are tidy and ready for the next day.
