We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our team. Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience
Understand customer needs through effective communication and active listening
Present and demonstrate products confidently, highlighting features and benefits
Upsell additional items or services to maximise sales opportunities
Maintain thorough knowledge of current stock levels, product features, and promotions
Organise merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor remains tidy and inviting
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring proper phone etiquette is maintained during interactions
Manage time efficiently to serve multiple customers during busy periods
Assist in stock replenishment and merchandising activities as required
Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
Experience in retail sales or merchandising is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Demonstrated ability to upsell products tactfully and effectively
Good phone etiquette when engaging with customers over the phone or via other communication channels
Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks in a busy environment
Previous experience in sales or the home furnishing industry is preferred.
