Imperium Commodity Search is working with an upcoming start-up brokerage focusing solely on the commodity markets. Our client is looking for an experienced futures/options broker to join the growing team in London. The successful candidate will have experience within the agriculture/soft commodity markets and an existing book of business.
Looking an individual or small team to hit the ground running and work with little to no guidance.
Responsibilities:

• Point of contact for executing futures and options contracts Agricultural products across the black sea region
• Execute futures/options orders for clients in accordance with exchange regulations on futures execution and clearing platforms
• Present voice/electronic execution services on exchange listed futures and options products
• Upsell and cross sell services to clients ensuring you provide tailored investment advice to fit their needs
• Provide extensive risk management services by delivering product and market risk reporting solutions to clients
• Help open new markets and product offerings to compliments companies existing portfolio
• Work alongside Senior management to grow the business across Black sea grains and help run a successful desk across Agriculture

Experience/ Requirements:

• 4+ years' experience in a Broker role within Agriculture/soft commodities necessary
• Experience in analysis and report writing for products within the Ags and Softs market specifically across Black Sea products
• Sound concept of how a futures exchange works and the regulations involved in executing orders across Softs and Ags
• Must have existing clients in the Agriculture and Soft commodities space across grains, dairy, coffee, cocoa, pulses, edible oils cotton etc with a focus on Black Sea
• Must be in UK (is open to speaking with people that would relocate)
• Willing to accommodate small team move if all candidates have a book of business
