We are seeking a dedicated FY2 Oncology professional to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Assist in the assessment and management of oncology patients, including monitoring treatment responses and side effects
Support the planning and delivery of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments under supervision
Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures, side effects, and follow-up care
Document patient information accurately in medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
Contribute to clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives within the oncology department
Requirements
Completion of Foundation Year 2 (FY2) training or equivalent postgraduate medical training
Strong interest or experience in oncology medicine is preferred
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt to evolving clinical guidelines and participate in continuous professional development
Basic proficiency with electronic medical records systems is desirable
