Hours


Working a rota which is a mixture of days, evening & weekends. 9am - 5pm / 2pm - 10pm.

Key Role


To work within our Gaming Centre, providing support to customers during in-store play events and assisting with all in-store purchases. The role includes organising and managing scheduled play events, liaising with brand partners, creating engaging in-store promotions, and contributing new promotional ideas. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and well-presented gaming area, as well as monitoring and replenishing stock levels within the retail space.

Responsibilities



Plan, create, and deliver engaging in-store promotions. Organise and host in-store play events for Trading Card Games and Collectible Card Games, including Warhammer gameplay, board games, and all TCGs. Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance with purchases. Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where families and friends can visit, play, and shop comfortably. Follow company processes and procedures to ensure consistently high standards of customer service for both internal and external customers. Manage social media channels to promote products, events, and in-store activity effectively. Develop and deliver marketing campaigns designed to increase store visibility and drive sales. Maintain store presentation and cleanliness, including replenishing stock, sanitising customer and staff areas, and keeping the shop floor tidy.

Experience and Skills



Previous experience in a customer service role. Familiarity with key brands such as Pokemon, Magic: The Gathering, and Yu-Gi-Oh! is essential, with additional training provided. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly build strong customer rapport. Ability to handle customer enquiries and complaints calmly, efficiently, and professionally. Confident, adaptable, and able to work at pace in a changing environment. Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Able to follow procedures to resolve customer issues effectively. Skilled at identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate closely with other departments to support continuous improvement. Proficient computer skills.

Pay: 23,809.50-25,000.00 per year
