About the Role:

L Lynch Plant & Haulage is looking for an experienced

Ganger

to join our team on a major Tier One client project near Inverness. You'll lead a small team of operatives on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification, while supporting the Foreman and site management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and motivate a small team of site operatives. Ensure daily tasks are completed to required quality and safety standards. Assist with setting out, groundwork, drainage, kerbing, and surfacing activities. Maintain compliance with UK Health & Safety and site procedures. Report progress, issues, and material requirements to the Foreman. Carry out quality checks and ensure works meet specification. Promote teamwork, efficiency, and safe working practices.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a

Ganger

or

Lead Operative

in highways, drainage, or civil engineering. Good understanding of road and drainage construction methods. Valid

CSCS Card

(Skilled Worker or above).

SSSTS

certification. Full UK driving licence. Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
