Duties

Install and repair various types of garage doors and openers, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements and address any potential issues. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Troubleshoot issues with existing installations, providing timely solutions. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the installation process.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to garage door installation. Experience in roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, and construction is highly desirable. Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read blueprints for accurate installations. Knowledge of plastering, fabrication, carpentry, construction painting, and masonry techniques is beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. A keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship in all installations.
