Kids Love Nature Kindergarten at Marwell are seeking an enthusiastic Gardener to design, develop, and maintain a stunning, safe, and functional outdoor space at Kids Love Nature Kindergarten at Marwell Zoo, including planning and executing landscaping projects, ensuring longevity and safety.

This will include ensuring the outdoor spaces are cared for at all times through comprehensive garden maintenance, including regular weeding, pruning, watering, seasonal planting, soil management, pest control, and general tidying. This also encompasses gardening tasks like tending to raised beds, potted plants, and any growing areas

You will also be passionate about sharing your knowledge and skills with the children and adults of the kindergarten so they are fully immersed in the experiences you are creating, including a deep understanding of seed to plate growing, cultivating and looking after plants, understanding the important role of living things to support the rich biodiversity in the habitats you create.

You will have a generous budget for development and maintenance of the space.

This is a 30 hours per week position requiring some flexibility in hours to ensure maintenance of the space at the weekend during the hotter months.
