Job Description

Skylark Garden Centre is on the lookout for a highly driven and motivated Garden Centre Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate who has previous Garden Centre experience. You will support the General manager to run a busy family-owned independent garden centre. Being a manager at Skylark will be a hands on and varied role, you will need to be able to motivate a team and have a good eye for detail.

You will initially work along side the current Garden Centre Manager who is coming up for retirement in 2026.

Key responsibilities are

To manage the efficient running of the departments on a day to day basis

To proactively serve and help customers in need of assistance, resolving queries and complaints

To merchandise and display stock according to the agreed principles

To create impulse, seasonal, promotional, themed and linked displays

Experienced in management and wanting to take your career to the next level
