We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team, responsible for ensuring the upkeep and proper functioning of our outdoor and indoor facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, with practical experience using hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance of gardens, lawns, and landscape features to ensure aesthetic appeal and health.
Use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment to carry out planting, pruning, watering, and fertilising tasks.
Assist with the installation and repair of irrigation systems to optimise water efficiency.
Perform general repairs around the premises, including fixing fences, garden structures, or other outdoor features.
Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting tools and machinery regularly.
Support growing projects by planting new flora or replacing existing vegetation as required.
Ensure all work areas are kept safe, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Experience
Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
Familiarity with the use of hand tools such as secateurs, shovels, rakes, and spades.
Experience operating power tools including hedge trimmers, lawnmowers, or similar equipment.
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance is advantageous.
A background in growing plants or working within horticultural environments will be highly regarded.
Previous experience in outdoor maintenance roles demonstrating reliability and attention to detail is essential.
