Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced gardener to join are team in a 25acre garden on private property on a full time basis.

The Gardener will play an important role in growing plants from seed and helping maintain the wider garden within a team or on your own.

Horticultural qualifications at level 2 would be desirable as would a (PA1/PA6) or Chainsaw certificate but not all necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, and weeding
- Use power tools and hand tools to maintain the gardens
- Irrigate plants and ensure proper watering schedules
- Maintain landscape by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and edging walkways
- Monitor and control pests and diseases in the garden
- Assist with the installation of new plants or garden features

Skills:
- Knowledge of growing and caring for a variety of plants
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for gardening tasks
- Experience in landscape maintenance and groundskeeping
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a neat and organized garden
