Job Description

ASY Garden Services is an established commercial and private garden maintenance company covering central Scotland and vacancies have now arisen for grounds maintenance staff in the Edinburgh Area.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years gardening experience. A full driving licence is required and the ideal candidate will have experience of driving vans and towing trailers.

General key tasks:

Weeding

Pruning

Planting shrubs, bedding etc.

Cutting Hedges

Grasscutting with Pedestrian & Ride-On Lawnmower

Strimming

Litter picking

Chainsaw maintenance works (depending on certification)

Spraying

Driving company vehicle

Observation of Company health and safety procedures at all times

Ensure regular maintenance of equipment and vehicles are carried out.

Ensure that paperwork is handed in on time and are accurate.

Liaise with Site Contractors, customers/clients and team members

Safe use of machinery

Able to work overtime which includes week-end work

Flexibility in working with other departments

Represent ASY Garden Services in best possible manner

Full clean driving license (Essential)

Trailer Licence (Desirable)

PA1/PA6 Spraying Certificate (Essential)

Ride on Mower Experience (Desirable)

Hours of work are 7:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday however additional hours will be expected to meet customer demands so applicants must be flexible with finishing times and be regularly available to work weekends.
