Gardener

Main Duties: (Full Training Provided)

Maintain and enhance our ornamental and landscaped areas to the highest standards. Operate horticultural and grounds maintenance machinery, including compact tractors and attachments. Assist with landscape refurbishment and planting projects, working in and around water features as needed. Carry out routine garden maintenance, ensuring the grounds remain pristine and inviting all year round. Work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team under the guidance of our Head Gardener.

Experience & Skills Required:

Ideally qualified to

NVQ Level 2 or above

in amenity/decorative horticulture or a related field. Knowledge of a wide range of trees, shrubs, and perennials. Experience in grounds or garden maintenance is desirable, but not essential - we'll provide full training. Preferably hold an

NPTC - PA1 and PA6 Pesticide Application Certificate

, although this is not essential. A

full current driving licence

is required (unless a disability precludes this), due to the nature of the role.

Hours of Work:

39 hours per week to be worked across 5 shifts. Monday - Thursday: 7.45am - 4.45pm, Friday: 7.45am - 3.45pm with a 1-hour lunch time per day.

Salary:

12.36 per hour.
