Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gardener to join our team at NHS Professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the landscapes of our partnered NHS Trusts. Your expertise will contribute to creating welcoming and functional outdoor spaces that support the health and wellbeing of patients and staff.

Responsibilities

To be responsible for grounds maintenance activities across the grounds and gardens of the estate To safely use hand tools and mechanical garden machinery To keep the sites, clean and tidy, inclusive of emptying all litter bin Interaction with staff and Public on site whilst carrying out duties To be flexible to seasonal workload changes and willing to participate in the winter on call roster

Requirements

Proven experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is essential. Strong knowledge of plant care, growing techniques, and irrigation methods. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
