We are seeking a hard working and skilled person to join our small team on a self employed basis. We are based near Alresford, but work all over Hampshire.

This role involves working outdoors to maintain and enhance landscape environments, contributing to the aesthetic and functional quality of various outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn and become part of a team and will have a desire to progress.

CANDIDATE MUST DRIVE

Duties

Utilise hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to carry out landscape maintenance tasks efficiently and safely. Assist with planting, pruning, mowing, fertilising, and weed control to ensure healthy plant growth. Operate gardening machinery and equipment, including strimmers, Hedge trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers. Support the installation of new landscapes, including planting beds, lawns, and garden features. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Follow health and safety procedures at all times during outdoor work activities.

Qualifications

Experience in gardening, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable, further training will be provided. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools and gardening equipment is preferred. Growing experience or knowledge of plant care principles is advantageous. Interest in horticulture or landscape design is preferred. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Good organisational skills and attention to detail are essential. Previous experience working with gardening or landscaping machinery is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
