Handyperson/Gardener

We currently have a requirement for a Handyperson to assist in maintaining our Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van dealership and facilities in Mallusk.

Hours of Work:

8.5 hours per week - 1 day per week

Job Background and Purpose:

This role will involve carrying out regular maintenance and housekeeping duties at our MBNI Commercial Vehicle Dealership based at Mallusk, we will also require regular visits to our site in Dungannon.

This role will be mainly external, to maintain the dealership and its grounds to a high standard.

External ground works: grass cutting/hedge trimming, collection of leaves/rubbish, gullies & waterways

Internal repairs: Tiling repairs, painting, doors and bathroom maintenance

Looking after fencing and dealership signage

Assist Management with Health & Safety action plans

Ad-hoc basic maintenance duties

Essential:

Have an eye for detail with an interest in gardening/DIY

Demonstrates good working ability in general maintenance, gardening and painting

Strong work ethic and the ability to work unsupervised

An eye for detail, takes pride in their work and the upkeep of the dealership

Basic knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety at work

Desirable:

Full Driver's licence

This role would be ideal for someone who is retired that would like a part-time position 1-day per week to keep the grounds of the dealership to a high standard.
