We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. With 4 or more years experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances and systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work safely and efficiently in various environments. The Gas Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all gas-related work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances, heating systems, and pipework. Conduct thorough inspections of gas systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Troubleshoot issues with gas appliances and systems, providing effective solutions. Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Perform plumbing tasks as required during installations or repairs. Carry out assembly work for various components related to gas systems. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Communicate effectively with clients regarding the status of their gas systems.

Skills

Proficient in welding techniques and the use of hand tools. Strong plumbing skills with experience in both residential and commercial settings. Familiarity with power tools and their safe operation. Solid mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair complex issues. Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Carpentry skills for any necessary structural modifications during installations. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installation or maintenance tasks. A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting equipment to job sites.
