CSS Environmental Ltd are a M&E contractors, proudly serving businesses across London and the South East since 2002. With over 20 years of experience, we work with a wide range of clients--from Retail to education, restaurants & leisure centres

We operate 365 days a year to support our clients with responsive maintenance and repair services. Our aim is to have an engineer on site within 24 hours of any breakdown to minimise downtime and disruption.

The Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Gas Engineer to join our team. This is a field-based role covering South East London and Kent, working across a variety of commercial sites. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair of gas systems.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial gas systems and appliances Respond to breakdowns and emergency callouts on a 1-in-4/5 week rota basis Diagnose faults and carry out remedial work efficiently Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant safety and quality standards Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times

What We're Looking For

Fully qualified Gas Engineer with relevant commercial gas certifications (e.g., CODNCO1, ICPN1, TPCP1A) Proven experience in a similar role within the commercial sector Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours rota (1 in 4/5 weeks) Flexibility to work 45 hours on-site per week
